Despite the province still waiting to open up fully and many
of us still in a partial lockdown – the real-estate market in Pickering and the
Toronto area has shown its resilience with homes and condominiums getting “over-asking”
on many transactions. With so few “for sale” signs on neighbourhood lawns, there’s
a bit of a frenzy going on with buyers.

There could be many reasons sellers might be reluctant to
put their home on the market; employment uncertainty, concerns over the future
of the economy and all the social unrest that’s been dominating the news cycle lately
may be some of the reasons so many potential sellers seem to be holding back.
